ACT Team
The ACT Team actually came from a Team American Superconductor suggestion. ACT focuses on planning activities and fostering community relations within and outside the organization. ACT does this by organizing company-sponsored events, conducting employee raffles that use excess proceeds for charity and through a sponsorship program. A volley ball team, infant CPR, as well as the golf, baseball and fishing trips are examples of ACT sponsored activities. ACT includes a cross-section of American Superconductor employees.
GEM
At American Superconductor, we are dedicated to recognizing the contributions of our employees. Our GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Program is one vehicle we use in this effort. This program allows instantaneous employee recognition for high quality contributions. All employees, including managers are eligible to participate. Employees may be recognized for contributions in following categories:Employees can stop by Human Resources to fill out a card and then they can present their card to the recipient. It’s that easy!
